About me and my practice

Successful counselling is based on a good therapeutic relationship which can aid personal growth. I welcome all and embrace our diversities across race, class, religion, culture, gender, and sexual orientation.
I work with an integrative approach which means I use different theories and approaches depending on what might suit your needs best. These include Person Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. I offer short -term work and long- term open ended work.
Whether you want to learn more about yourself, make changes in your life or receive support at a difficult time I will listen with compassion. Supporting you to gain clarity and make any changes you may desire. Working together, I aim to facilitate you to reach a place of greater wellbeing.
I offer online counselling via Zoom or telephone sessions from a private room.
I am fully insured, have an enhanced DSB certificate and am registered with the ICO.

Experience

I work for the low- cost counselling charity service 'ACT' based in Bromley and also undertake clinical assessments. My counselling experience includes working with difficulties concerning childhood adversity and abuse, relationship and family issues, cultural issues, low self-esteem, loss, anxiety, depression and trauma. I also have experience working in a hospice setting with adults that had been bereaved, and supporting family members whose loved ones have a terminal illness.

Transactional Analysis 101 (UKATA)
Certificates in counselling studies Levels 1-3 (CPCAB)
Safeguarding Adults and Children Level 1.
Safeguarding Adults level 2.

Initial Consultation

I offer a free 15 minute consultation by telephone or online via Zoom to listen to what you are seeking support for at this time and whether I might be the right counsellor for you. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about counselling and working together.

Fees

My fee is £50 for 50 minutes. I can offer a reduced fee for those on a low income please let me know if this applies to you.

When I Work

I have availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Various time slots daytime and evening.
